As a freelance writer for Seattle Business Monthly magazine, the feature assignments I've handled have included a profile of Ivar's CEO Bob Donegan (cover story); a profile of Collier's CEO Doug Frye; an in-depth report on Tacoma's commercial real estate environment; and, in 2008, writing the magazine's annual small-business guide -- a 10-page cover story that included features on the Small Business Administration (SBA), the Service Core of Retired Executives (SCORE), and the Northwest Entrepreneur Network (NWEN). It also included profiles of four small-business owners in the Puget Sound region.
